always large and
very prolific.

So hard to
photograph due
to the dark spots
that lead the eye
away from the
flowers.

Bamboo Aloe

Today's walk in
the yard was a
special treat.
Almost all of
the Bamboo
Alia are beginning
to send out shoots.

The blossoms
are hollow like
bamboo, hence
the name.

A walk in the garden this
morning in the soft
light of the cloudy sky.

Looking behind the
main subject for the
background, dark spots,
etc. is becoming more
of a challenge all the time.

This hot cocoa rose is against
the house, and the barrel is
too heavy to turn. I have to
move a lot to get what I want.

Dogwood by the Merced River

We spent 5 days
in Yosemite Valley
last week.

The weather was
wonderful and
everything except
the name changes
to favorite places
was grand,

getting my images
into my Lightroom
Catalog.

Stayed at Curry
Village with friends
from Illinois and
from Castro Valley.

Warm, beautiful
weather. Glacier
Road was open
for 2 days and we
drove home in
the rain.
