Tilden Park Gardens

A quick visit to Tilden Park in Berkeley today.
Not too much in bloom, but the garden is beautiful. Great paths, and everything is clearly marked so you know the names of the plants.
Wonderful weather, limited parking, free admission, and good times for all.

Upcountry Botanical Garden have a huge variety of these and you can buy them at the local Safeway.

Peek a boo

One petal fell off and revealed the inside stamens and pistils on this pretty pink tulip. It is truly amazing how everything is still intact after the blossom has begun to fall apart.
