Resident housing close to the Ahwahnee Hotel in Yosemite Valley.

The only two large pink dogwoods that we saw last week.

These two trees are on a trail that leads across the meadow going to the road used to enter the hotel property

Amazing and Beautiful Trees, and there is Half Dome looming in the background.

April 19-21, 2015.  The dogwoods were absolutely amazing. Curry Village showed the most flowering trees, but the Lodge and surrounding areas were also amazing.  This family was taking a walk and exploring the path leading away from the Lodge. Such beauty will not be soon forgotten.

Green agave plant photographed against a deep blue wall.

Edits include black and white conversion, Nik Silver Efex Pro and a Sepia conversion.

The pattern in the white sand adds a bit of drama due to the patterns and the lines and shadows that are visible.

Cabo Copper Vessel in Sepia

A couple of Christmas Vacations ago, we went to Cabo San Lucas with the family.
The Westin Hotel we stayed in was seriously damaged by the hurricane this Spring.
Colorful and Grand would describe this hotel.
While going through some photos, I converted  a couple to black and white sepia toned images.
Hopefully you will enjoy them.

Plant and Agave in Sepia

Golden walls and copper planters filled with green agave makes for wonderful color.

This image has been converted to black and white, and then Sepia toned to present a different view of my original colorful image.

Hopefully these planters survived the hurricane.
