Betty Boop

Bright and perky, this Betty Boop Rose was enjoying the early morning dew!

She is so full of bloom all year, and seems to be alert and full of life, just like the cartoon character she is named for.

Happy Birthday Ryder

Birthday boy loves Root Beer Floats and Mama Burgers at Val's in  Hayward.

Age 10 and a tad over 5' tall.

Wednesday's Garden

Todays walk in the garden found Tuscan Sun in bloom.

This flower starts out with a very dark bud, and then as it opens  the petals lighten up a bit each day.

Such a fun rose to watch each day.

Pasadena Peace

Pasadena City College Invitational Swim Meet in early April. Side trip to the Rose Bowl Gardens.

This Peace Rose was wonderful, so I had to take a photo to remember her by.

dogwood?

From a distance, this tree looks like a dogwood.
Upon closer inspection, I am not certain what type of tree this is. Lovely white blossoms just cover the tree.
