Sometimes  you are patient enough to get lucky.
Love the colors and the waves created by the fast swimming ducks!

Backlight allows the color to show through the petals and makes for a very different view of the petals, etc.

Purple Passion

Not sure what this flower is, but I liked the sun shinning through the petals from the back.

A little exposure adjustment was necessary to bring out the detail in the petals.

Garin Park Today

Visited Garin Park today in Fremont.
Weather was wonderful, the poppies on the hillside were wonderful, as were the views.
We hiked up the long hills, and this was the view from the top.

Tilden Park Gardens

A quick visit to Tilden Park in Berkeley today.
Not too much in bloom, but the garden is beautiful. Great paths, and everything is clearly marked so you know the names of the plants.
Wonderful weather, limited parking, free admission, and good times for all.
